Americos Retarder RT
Introduction :
Americos Retarder RT is a versatile retarder and leveling agent for dyeing of acrylic with cationic dyes.

The advantages of Americos Retarder RT :

• High affinity for acrylic fiber
• Lowers absorption rate of cationic dyestuffs, especially during the critical temperature phase (starting from 80°C)
• Level absorption of the dyestuffs
• Minimal effect on colour yield
• Low foaming

Properties :
Application
Americos Retarder RT can be pre-dissolved in cold or warm water or added in to dye bath directly. The amount to be applied depends on depth of the shade, the dyeing rate and the fiber type.

The following values are suggested :
The addition of 5 - 10% sodium sulphate (on weight of material), further improves of the level dyeing effect.

Storage & handling precautions :

• Store in cool place
• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The shelf life of Americos Retarder RT is one year, if storage temperature is below 30° C
• The usual storage, handling, usage and safety precautions should be observed

Introduction
Americos Mercer EXL is an anionic wetting agent and stable to highly concentrated alkali solutions used in mercerizing. It is an extremely low foaming, mercerizing wetting agent with iron binding capacity.

The outstanding wetting power of Americos Mercer EXL assists problem free mercerization of grey cotton yarn and woven fabrics.

The Features of Americos Mercer EXL:

• Increases lustre
• Produces a soft handle
• Ensures high and even shrinkage
• Increases the depth of dyeing
• Ensures perfect penetration even with tightly woven fabrics
• Low foaming and simple handling

Americos Leveler LE
Introduction
Americos Leveler LE is low foaming leveling agent for high temperature dyeing of polyester. During polyester exhaust dyeing, Americos Leveler LE increases the solubility of disperse dyes, which ensure a better distribution of the dyes during the heating phase.

Americos Leveler LE is used for dyeing mainly polyester but can also be used for acetate, triacetate and polyamide fibers with disperse dyes.

Americos Leveler LE can also be used for the following processes:

• Can be used to lighten the dyeing
• Can also be used as an auxiliary during stripping of dyes in reductive baths

Application
Exhaust application (During dyeing)

In order to achieve better result, it is recommended to combine Americos Leveler LE in the recipe with an anionic dispersant such as Americos Dispersol DX.
Dosage
During washing-off or reduction clearing
Along with the washing-off or reduction clearing recipe, Americos Leveler LE removes the unfixed disperse dyes rapidly and thoroughly.

Storage & Handling Precautions

• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The shelf life of Americos Leveler LE is one year if stored below 40°C
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed
