Americos Sequester 2000
Introduction :
Americos Sequester 2000 is an anionic, low foaming chelating / sequestering agent/ dispersing agent for metal ions and other impurities present in fibers and water. In the dyeing, Americos Sequester 2000 eliminates spotting of goods. It promotes soft hand and absorbency by preventing deposition of salts such of calcium, magnesium and iron. It disperses insoluble salts for easy rinsing.

The advantages of Americos Sequester 2000 are :

• Prevention of pinhole formation due to catalytic oxidation caused by iron during bleaching (chelates iron / heavy metals)
• During dyeing, it prevents spots, shade change and unlevelness by chelating heavy metals and dispersing impurities
• Increased productivity
• Improved rinsing due to scale inhibition (effective at low concentrations, such as in rinse baths)

Application :
Application levels of 0.50 - 0.75 g/L of Americos Sequester 2000 are recommended to sequester and disperse hardness causing salts and other impurities in the fibers and water.

During fabric preparation, Americos Sequester 2000 also provides iron chelating to prevent fabric/yarn damage from catalyzed oxidation, disperses silicate salts, and provides additional stabilizing effect on the hydrogen peroxide.

In disperse and reactive dye baths, Americos Sequester 2000 sequesters metals, which can adversely affect the shade, depth, and levelness of the dyeing plus it performs as a dye dispersant.

Storage & handling precautions :

• The shelf life of Americos Sequester 2000 is one year if storage temperature is below 30°C

Americos SF-1402 is an epoxide modified hydrophilic silicone emulsion. Hydrophilic Softeners have a good affinity for both natural and synthetic fibers such as cotton, flax and polyester. Fabrics treated with Americos SF-1402 have durable softness, good air permeability, hydrophilicity and slippery feel. The treatment also imparts anti-static properties; especially it imparts anti-pilling property to synthetic fiber.

• Hydrophilic Softeners is a nonionic, hydrophilic, self-emulsified epoxide modified silicone emulsion with high effective content
• It has good water solubility and compatibility
• It has no de-emulsification tendency
• It has good affinity to both natural and synthetic fibres
• It can form self-cross-linked film on fabric surface with the help of catalyst and heating
• It imparts soft, slippery and elastic finish on PES, cotton and flax fabrics
• It can be used alone, or can be used along with durable stiffening resin

Properties :



Application :
Americos SF-1402 can be used alone or together with durable resin or other softeners. When used as softener, usual dosage of 2-3 g/l is recommended.

Padding Process :



One dip one nip or two dips two nips methods of padding under room temperature can be followed. Nevertheless, for the actual application; the process should be adjusted according to the initial trials.

The Americos AK 1500 is a special high molecule composition developed for fabric luster removal agent.

• Americos AK 1500 improves the quality of the fabric by preventing the sleekness of the fabric.

It is differs from material to material, but the standard amount of usage is 5-10 g/l in warm water
