Americos Nanosoft 3420 S is a highly concentrated silicone softener in gel form. It is made from premium quality of silicone polymers, which gives excellent softness and surface smoothness to garments and fabrics. It is highly exhaustible.

Application Methods
Americos Nanosoft 3420 S can be applied by exhaust as well as by padding method.

a) Exhaust method
(Package m/c, Wash wheel, Soft-flow m/c, Winch)

b) Padding method

Impregnate the fabric for 70–80% pick-up and dry it at 120°–140°C for 2–3 min.

Storage & Handling Precautions

• Store in cool place and avoid storing in direct sunlight.
• The shelf life of Americos Nanosoft 3420 S is two years under recommended storage.
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed.

Americos Anti-Ozone


Function:
Americos Anti-Ozone is originally formulated to provide excellent ozone fastness. It is carefully blended to achieve special Anti-Ozone chemistry while containing efficient waxing property to prohibit damage on the colour and ozone fastness when treated material is exposed to the sun.

Americos Anti-Ozone to a certain extent can also act as an excellent and economically sewing/napping lubricant exhibiting high heat stability designed to dramatically improve the sewing and napping performance of goods made from cellulosic, wool and synthetic fibers. This product not only reduces equipment failure rates but also imparts a soft hand to the treated fabric

• Is primarily designed to improve ozone fastness

• Exhibits no tendency for sublimation.
• Does not influence the shade or fastness properties of dyed goods
• Does not affect the whiteness of brightened goods

Application
Padding process:

Pad on dry goods (100% pick-up) at room temperature

Exhaust process:
lR=5 - 30 to 1
1-6% Americos Anti-Ozone (based on weight of goods)"
For cellulosic fibers, pH: 6 - 7 with acetic acid or sodium bicarbonate.
For synthetics, pH: 7.5 - 9.0 with sodium bicarbonate or soda ash. Temperature 32° - 54°C/90°-130°F, 15 - 20 minutes, hydros extract and dry conventionally

Due to excellent compatibility, Americos Anti-Ozone can be used in all common finishing formulations

If stripping of the fabric is required, Americos Anti-Ozone can be removed as follows
1.0 - 2.0 g/l detergent
1.0 - 2.0 g/l soda ash Run 30 minutes at 70°-90°C/158°-194°F Rinse. Storage & Handling Precautions :

• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The shelf-life of Americos Anti-Ozone is one year if stored below 40°C

Americos Catalase XL (Highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide killer enzyme)
Introduction :
Americos Catalase XL is highly effective in catalyzing the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. In textiles processing, this is often the most preferred mode of hydrogen peroxide removal after the bleaching step as the enzyme and the breakdown products are totally inert to Reactive dyestuffs.

Americos Catalase XL enzyme accommodates a broad pH and temperature range and remains effective even at high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.

Removing Hydrogen Peroxide with Americos Catalase XL

Americos Catalase XL removes hydrogen peroxide with very simple system with cost effectiveness and reliability Excess reducing chemical used ? H₂O₂ removed but excess reducing chemical affects dyeing Insufficient reducing chemical used ? H₂O₂ not fully removed and affects dyeing

Removal of Hydrogen Peroxide :
Hydrogen peroxide and other peroxy compounds are commonly used for bleaching in preparation of cellulase based fabrics and yarns. If not completely removed, hydrogen peroxide will cause shade change with some fiber Reactive dyes. Even a small amount of residual hydrogen peroxide, particularly left in creases and folds of fabric, causes change in cast of dye resulting in uneven dyeing.
