Americos Catasoft 1550 NY is a cold water soluble cationic softener and hence, it is excellently suitable for cotton, t/c knitted blend fabrics. It is also suitable for resin processing industry. It imparts very good hand feeling and antistatic properties. Because of its low-yellowing specific characteristic, it is very well suited for blue and white jeans laundry or stone-washing.

Application Methods :
Americos Catasoft 1550 NY can be applied by exhaust as well as by padding method.

Exhaust method :
(Package m/c, Soft-flow m/c, Winch)

(a) Post conditioning of acrylic yarn especially in the final rinse of yarn dyeing m/c:

(b) Application on Knitted fabric:
(c) Softening of garment (Wash-wheel):
Padding method:

Impregnate the fabric for 70-80% pick-up and dry it at 120°-140°C for 2-3 min. Storage & Handling Precautions :

• Store in cool place
• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The shelf life of Americos Catasoft 1550 NY is one year if stored properly
• The usual storage, handling, usage and safety precautions should be observed

Americos Catasoft EXL is a warm water soluble cationic softener and hence, it is excellently suitable for cotton, terry cotton knitted blend fabrics. It is also suitable for resin processing industry. It imparts very good hand feeling and antistatic properties. Because of its low-yellowing specific characteristic, it is very well suited for blue and white jeans laundry or stone-washing.

Properties:

Guideline: For making Catasoft solution using Americos Catasoft EXL

• Add 10 kg of Americos Catasoft EXL into 100 litre of water for 10% active content.
• The addition should be carried out at above 60°–70° C for 30–60 min with constant stirring for a complete dissolution.
• After complete dissolution is ensured, please filter it before packing.
• Recommended dosage from the 10% Americos Catasoft EXL solution is 1.5% on the weight of fiber (owf).

Storage & Handling Precautions:

• Store in cool place
• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed
