Americos Bio-Scoured XL
Introduction :
Americos Bio-Scoured XL is a blend of pectinase and cellulase enzyme. It is used in bio-scouring process. It breaks down the pectin in the cotton and thus assists the removal of waxes, oils and other impurities. It is environmental friendly and gentle to fabric processing. It also saves water and energy.

The traditional strong alkaline process is a harsh treatment; it reduces fabric weight by 6 - 8%. Americos Bio-scoured XL makes it possible to scour effectively without affecting the fabric and the environment. Unlike traditional scouring Americos Bio-Scouring methods give fabric a soft start and gentle preparation for the subsequent stages of textile wet-processing.

Application Methods :
Americos Bio-Scoured XL can be applied by exhaust method.

Exhaust Application:(Jigger, Soft-flow m/c, Winch)
Add 2-3 g/l of Americos Extracta XL (emulsifying cum wetting agent), raise the temperature to 80°-85°C and run the machine for 30 minutes. Drain the above at high temperature. Give one hot wash and one cold wash.

Introduction :
Americos Extracta AL is highly concentrated solvent-based emulsifying and wetting agent. It is recommended for scouring process of all fibers. It removes all hydrophobic and oily impurities from fabric at low temperature.

Americos Extracta AL is recommended for batch process.

The most outstanding effects of Americos Extracta AL:

• Excellent scouring agent with good wetting and detergent action.
• Removes oily contamination and sizes of all types producing a high degree of purification and good absorbency
• It works excellent at low temperatures also

Mode of action :
Americos Extracta AL wets out, washes, extracts, emulsifies, disperses and makes impurities soluble/removable in all suitable continuous and discontinuous stages of pretreatment

Americos Extracta AL has an emulsifying effect even at room temperature, e.g. on mineral oil contamination, so that it becomes readily removable by subsequent hot rinsing.

Application :
1 - Scouring :

• 5-30g/l Americos Extracta AL
• 40-60g/l caustic soda (100%)
• Pad the fabric with above recipe at 70-80% pick -up and steam for 10-20 min. Then give hot rinse and cold rinse in compartmental washing units

Discontinuous: (liquor ratio 1:8-1:20)

• 2-5g/l Americos Extracta AL
• 2-4g/l soda ash o 3-8g/l caustic soda 100%
• Heat to boil, hold 30-60 min. Give one hot rinse and one cold rinse.

Storage & handling precautions :

• Store in a cool/dry place
• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The shelf life of Americos Extracta AL is one year, if storage temperature is below 30°C
• The usual storage, handling, usage and safety precautions should be observed
